Laura Skinner is People / Transformation Director at So Energy, a renewables focused energy company with a team of around 500, a role she has held since March 2025. Working with CEO Charlie and a People team of 35, she focuses on organisational design, technology enabled customer service, engagement, performance, leadership development, and AI transformation. Previously, Laura was Interim Global People Director at Moonpig, leading the global People team across Moonpig, Greetz, and Experiences (Buyagift/Redletterdays), supporting around 750 employees and reporting to the group CEO. She spent three years at Tempo, an Adecco backed HR Tech platform, progressing from Head of People to Chief People Officer, where she partnered with the co-founders to build a People function scaling the business from Series A. At OVO, as Interim Head of HR Business Partnering, she led the people aspects of the £500 million SSE acquisition, growing headcount from 2,000 to over 8,000.
