Alex Snelling is Chief People Officer for McDonald’s IOM Business Unit, overseeing people strategy across 11 European countries and 3,000 restaurants, supporting over 250 million customers. He partners with market leaders to drive growth, develop talent, and transform McDonald’s employee and customer experience across the region. Previously, Alex led the people agenda for McDonald’s Canada, one of the brand’s largest global markets, and managed 13 Developmental Licensee franchisee partners across 23 European markets, accelerating high-potential growth. His international experience also includes leading talent and culture initiatives across all markets outside the USA, delivering global succession planning, performance management, and employee development programs.
