As Global Chief Talent Officer at WPP, Shannon leads end-to-end talent strategy and execution for a network of more than 100,000 people across 100+ markets. Her remit spans Executive Search & Succession, Talent Acquisition, Talent Marketplace & Mobility, Flex Talent, Early Careers, and the transformation of WPP’s global talent supply chain. She serves as a trusted advisor to WPP’s CEO, Board, and Executive Committee on critical executive appointments, succession planning, workforce strategy, and organization design. During her tenure, Shannon rebuilt WPP’s executive search function into a fully in-house, values- and Hogan-integrated model, driving a 52% cumulative increase in inclusion across executive hires while delivering more than $22M in annualized savings. She also launched WPP’s global Talent Marketplace and mobility framework, enabling 3,000+ cross-company moves in its first year.
