Since joining Merck in November 2024, Ruben has been leading the modernization of Learning & Development, with a clear mandate to make L&D AI-ready and deliver personalized, high-impact learning experiences. Prior to this role, he spent three years driving workforce planning and people analytics initiatives and began his career as an HR transformation consultant. Ruben specializes in managing complex, enterprise-wide transformation programs, combining consultancy rigor with hands-on industry experience. His work spans technology stack modernization, operating model redesign, process and vendor strategy, and employee portfolio optimization.
